Faith N Friends Horse Rescue & Sanctuary

Faith N Friends is a non-profit, 501(c)3 horse rescue and sanctuary in Corryton, TN, officially founded in 2016. Faith, the founder, has been rescuing horses and other animals for far longer than that. She is the mother of two, foster mom to 1, primary family practitioner, vet technician, avid rider, advocate for any type of animal, and most of all, horse lover.

Over the years she has worked tirelessly to help sick, injured, and abused animals and horses.  In her spare time she owns and works at a local primary health clinic, Knoxville Medical Group, which is designed to help the community! Seeing the distress her patients were in, she decided to bridge the gap between horse & people! Tackling mental health and the stigma behind it and also supporting our special needs community!

This is where our Motto came from:
‘Helping Horses Help People’

Faith says, ‘Faith N Friends teaches the community that through education, love, kindness, hard work and acceptance, we can ALL recover from mental health issues. We can ALL be contributing members of society!’

Every one of our horses used in our community programs have been rehabbed! If they can do it, so can you!

Bridging the gap and determined to make a difference, Faith founded Faith N Friends to address the problem on a larger scale and to raise community awareness. We are forever grateful for her service and commitment to keep horses safe, happy, and healthy while they wait to be placed in forever homes.

Through community outreach and education, Faith N Friends strives to bring understanding and comfort to people of all ages and from all walks as they interact with and learn about horses.  Faith N Friends works to address both equine and human needs by providing care, treatment, and training, as well as matching loving owners to the right horse while helping and educating horse owners and the community.

Faith N Friends’ vision is welcoming family environment that nurtures connections that leads to happy horses and healthier people.
