FNF Feeder Team

FNF FEEDER TEAM

The FNF Feeder Team is a heart-centered volunteer program at Faith N Friends Horse Rescue, built on compassion, responsibility, and community. Open to volunteers of all ages and abilities, the Feeder Team provides hands-on training and guidance so every participant can confidently and safely help care for horses who need individualized feeding, special attention, and daily support at the farm.

While our horses receive the dedicated care they deserve, our volunteers receive something just as meaningful. Many find a sense of peace and purpose—discovering therapeutic connection, building trust with the horses, forming friendships with fellow volunteers, and experiencing the calm and joy that come from being part of something bigger than themselves.

This family-friendly, inclusive program welcomes everyone—regardless of background, disability, or experience level. We believe that together we are stronger, and the Feeder Team embodies that spirit every single day.

Beyond caring for animals, the program instills lifelong values, especially in our youth. Through consistent work and meaningful responsibility, young volunteers learn that nothing in life is free—you get what you give. Their efforts directly impact the well-being of our rescue horses, teaching accountability, empathy, and the true power of service.

The FNF Feeder Team is more than a program—it’s a community, a purpose, and a place where both horses and humans find healing.

How to Join the Feeder Team

Becoming part of the Feeder Team is simple and open to anyone with a willingness to learn and a heart for helping horses:

  1. Attend Volunteer Orientation
Orientation is held monthly and introduces you to our mission, safety procedures, and volunteer expectations.
  2. Complete the Volunteer Application
This quick form helps us understand your interests, availability, and comfort level around horses.
  3. Submit the Liability Waiver
A signed liability waiver is required for all volunteers.
  • Volunteers under 18 must have the form completed and signed by a parent or guardian.
  • Volunteers 13 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while volunteering.

Once these steps are complete, you’ll be paired with trained team members who will guide you through feeding routines and ensure you feel confident and supported every step of the way.
