Molly

Molly is a 15-year-old American Saddlebred mare standing approximately 15.1 HH.  She is up-to-date on vaccinations, Coggins, hooves, and dental. Molly has had multiple trainers. Molly is sweet but reactive and has several vices. Molly is buddy sour and can be hard to load. She is cold-backed and needs to be lunged before riding. She also cribs. She does not need any grain or supplements and stays fat on a green pasture. She stands for the farrier.  Molly has had professional training and her trainer describes her as very sweet, and just in need of a lot of saddle time with an experienced rider.  She is trained under Western, English, and bareback.  You can see a video here…

Molly’s Story

Molly was surrendered to Faith N Friends by her previous owner, who took her in when the gentleman who had rescued her had to move her from the property where she was being boarded when it was sold.  Molly spooked easily and it seemed evident that she had been abused sometime in her past.  They soon discovered that Molly was buddy sour, pacing and cribbing, calling out to neighboring horses when she heard them.  They soon brought Promise home as a companion for Molly.  Molly and Promise were pasture pets, not ridden.  Eventually, their family became unable to safely keep up with the physical demands of caring for horses on a too-small property.  They wanted a safe and soft landing with the prospects of a bright future for Molly where she could find the care and training that she so obviously needed.

We are very grateful that Molly’s owners decided to place her with Faith N Friends.  Her family did the right thing and Molly will receive the training and attention she obviously needs.

We look for this lady to be an awesome addition to someone’s heart!
