Meet our Lesson Staff

I have a background in English (Hunter/Jumper) and Western (Ranch) Disciplines. I have been a lesson instructor for over 10 years. Lessons with me focus on communication between horse and rider. I specialize in meeting both the horse and rider where they are at, while setting small goals so we see progress sooner rather than later. I teach both able-bodied riders (intermediate- advanced) and provide therapeutic services. Hope to see you soon!

Hi! My name is Lizzie! As a former elementary school teacher with a passion for both horses and education. I love working with horses and teaching riders of all ages and experience levels. With a Hunter Jumper Background I focus on proper equitation, but meeting riders at the level they are at. Lessons with me look like a positive, fun environment pushing towards your goals. I look forward to helping riders learn, grow, and build meaningful connections with our amazing horses. I can’t wait to see you at the barn!

Hey all! My name is Tabitha. I am beginner-intermediate instructor teaching english and western lessons. My training technique will educate you from the ground up. My equine background is extensive, but I spent most of it in the Hunter/ Jumper World. With that being said, my favorite type of lessons are Trail Lessons. I believe once you have a good understanding of the basics, trail lessons are a great opportunity to enhance your learning experience.

Hello, I'm Amber Acuff. I have been riding for 20 years,  teaching beginner riders for 10 years. I specialize in working with children, starting with their confidence on the ground, and transitioning to under saddle. Pulling knowledge from my diverse background, I am dedicated to teaching riders in a way that makes the most sense to them. I put a positive, patient twist on learning to ride so that riders are comfortable progressing forward. Let's get you started riding!

Hi! I’m Leah, and I’ve been part of the Faith N Friends family since October 2024. Since joining, I’ve immersed myself in helping volunteers and lesson students discover who they are through their experiences with horses. I love watching people grow in their skills and knowledge while also encouraging them to embrace their playful side, have fun, and truly enjoy their time with horses. There’s something incredibly special about seeing someone gain confidence, discover new parts of themselves, or even find themselves again through their connection with horses. I feel so grateful to be part of those journeys and to help create a space where people can grow, connect, and simply be themselves.

My name is Dena. I have been riding horses my whole life & have owned my own horses for 4 years. I love helping the students learn about the horses & tacking to ride. Its important to me to take the time to teach kids how to be independent so that they understand the importance of horse care and proper tack. I love seeing the progress riders make as they develop in our program. 

I've been a volunteer with Faith N Friends since February 2026 and started as a Lesson Assistant in May 2026.

My favorite thing about being a lesson assistant is working with the students and getting to see them progress in their riding and horsemanship skills.

Outside of being a lesson assistant, I am enjoying learning to ride and growing my horsemanship here at Faith N Friends.
